About Us

Zellwood Integrity Dental is a new, privately owned dental practice in Zellwood, Florida. We are building our team from the ground up and are focused on providing high-quality, patient-centered dental care in a welcoming, professional environment.

As a new private practice, we are looking for team members who want to grow with us and play an important role in developing the culture, systems, and patient experience of the office.

We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and personable Dental Assistant who takes pride in patient care, works well as part of a team, and is excited about joining a growing privately owned practice.

Initial Office Schedule

Our initial clinical schedule will be:

  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

  • Thursday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

This position is ideal for someone interested in joining a new practice at the beginning and growing with the office as our patient base and operating schedule expand.

Responsibilities

As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and clinical team to provide excellent patient care and keep the clinical area running efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures

  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment

  • Provide four-handed chairside assistance

  • Take digital dental X-rays and intraoral images when properly certified

  • Assist with restorative procedures, crowns, bridges, root canals, extractions, implants, and other general dentistry procedures

  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments and treatment rooms according to infection-control protocols

  • Maintain proper sterilization records and clinical organization

  • Review patient medical histories and prepare patients for treatment

  • Explain procedures and post-operative instructions to patients

  • Take impressions and perform expanded duties when appropriately trained and certified

  • Maintain dental supplies and notify management when inventory needs to be reordered

  • Keep operatories clean, stocked, and ready for patients

  • Assist with end-of-day cleaning, disinfection, organization, and resetting of treatment rooms and clinical areas so the office is prepared for the next business day

  • Help maintain accurate clinical documentation

  • Assist with laboratory cases and communication when needed

  • Support the front office and other team members when necessary

  • Help create a positive, professional, and welcoming experience for every patient

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous dental assisting experience

  • EFDA certification or expanded-functions training

  • Dental radiography/X-ray certification

  • CPR/BLS certification

  • Experience with digital dentistry and dental imaging

  • Experience assisting with general dentistry procedures

  • Familiarity with dental practice-management software; Open Dental experience is a plus

  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Compensation

$20–$24 per hour, based on dental assisting experience, certifications, expanded-function capabilities, and overall qualifications.

Highly qualified candidates with strong experience, EFDA credentials, radiography certification, and the ability to independently manage clinical workflows may be considered at the higher end of the range.
